ABOUT US

Our ministry has its roots in a deep commitment to serving God and reaching people with His love. In 1970, Pastor Gummadi Dharma Rao and his wife Suseela left their professions—he as an electrician and she as a nurse—to dedicate their lives fully to God’s work. By faith, they began ministry, planting churches and making disciples in many places.

In 1974, Pastor Dharma Rao started a small church with only seven people. Despite facing many hardships, including financial struggles and lack of basic needs, he remained faithful to God’s calling.

In 1990, their son, Pastor Gummadi Ebenezer, completed his education and Bible training and began assisting in the ministry through music and service. In 1992, after his marriage, he moved to Repalle and started a church there. In 1997, he founded Gospel Outreach Ministries, through which God has continued to work in many villages and communities.

Over the years, the ministry has expanded to include church planting, village outreach, feeding street children, helping the poor, supporting widows, and caring for orphans. In 2017, an orphanage ministry was started to provide care and support for vulnerable children.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, the ministry helped many pastors, families, and villages who were suffering from food shortages and hardship. With the help of friends and personal sacrifice, support was provided to many in need.

In 2025, when the Montha Cyclone affected many villages and pastors, Gateway Church and Pastor Tim Jarvis kindly supported the relief efforts. Through this partnership, many pastors and families received much-needed help.

Today, Gospel Outreach Ministries continues to serve pastors, widows, children, and poor families in rural villages, sharing the love of Christ and working for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
